With over 5,000 residents and located just south of Logan, Providence is adding new businesses including an 8 plex theater, a new grocery store, restaurants and retail stores. Most of these are located on highway 165 leaving the center of town relatively quite. In the summer water flows down ditches to water backyard gardens. Providence Main Street has many beautiful older homes, lovingly renovated with manicured yards. To the east and west are new subdivisions some with spectacular valley views, some with lovely mountain views.
